By a normal exposure to sun and atmospheric conditions.

The warranty covers any unusual wear and tear of the fabric and the colour of it. It is applicable as of the date of installation of the awning

The warranty must comply with the following specifications:

• The iron fittings and mechanisms are not included.
• The installation of the awning and the maintenance and care thereof must be appropriate.
• Damages produced by inappropriate installation, maintenance, handling or cleaning with abrasive products are not covered.
• The fabric may be cleaned occasionally with a solution of water and soft soap.
• Accidents, misuse and negligence are not covered, and the same applies to stains and tears.

How the warranty works:

• Bootpoint.nl shall replace the damaged fabric with brand new fabric.
• Bootpoint.nl shall not be responsible for the cost involved in
  disassembling the old awning and installing the new one.

With solution-dyed acrylic fabrics (a process developed in Europe in the 1950’s),

the coloring actually takes place before the yarn is ever created.
A liquid acrylic solution is combined with precisely-determined colors, and this colored liquid is then extruded and transformed into fiber.
The fiber never exists in a colorless state; it’s inherently a liquid acrylic-and-color blend. This fiber is then spun into yarn, using a complex process that prevents color contamination.

The net effect is that instead of weaving yarn made of dyed fibers, solution-dyed acrylic fabrics are created from yarn already permeated with color; essentially, the fabric IS the color. Sun, wear and tear, even bleach won’t affect that color -- which is why Bootpoint.nl can offer a Five (5)-year guarantee against sun damage and fading on all of its luxury performance textiles.
